What are the minimum entry requirements for the course?

For entry into the Electrical Engineering N1-2, you require:

  • Grade 10; or
  • Grade 12 Certificate; or
  • Equivalent qualification.

For entry into the Electrical Engineering N3, you require:

  • N2 Certificate; or
  • Grade 12; or
  • Equivalent qualification.

For entry into the Electrical Engineering N4-6, you require:

  • N3 – N5 Certificates; or
  • Equivalent qualification.

In order to obtain a Nated National Certificate (Electrical Engineering N1-2), a student is required to take a total of 4 subjects.

In order to obtain a Nated National Certificate (Electrical Engineering N3), a student is required to take a total of 4 subjects.

How long is the qualification?

The Nated National Certificate (Electrical Engineering), the programme is a full or part-time three (03) months program at each of the Nated (N). A student is issued with a certificate on the successful completion of each Nated. (N) of study, that is N1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
