What are the minimum entry requirements for the course?
For entry into the Boiler-Making N1-2, you require:
- Grade 10; or
- Grade 12 Certificate; or
- Equivalent qualification.
For entry into the Mechanical Engineering N3, you require:
- N2 Certificate; or
- Grade 12; or
- Equivalent qualification.
For entry into the Mechanical Engineering N4-6, you require:
- N3 – N5 Certificates; or
- Equivalent qualification.
In order to obtain a Nated National Certificate (Boiler-Making N1-3), a student is required to take a total of 4 subjects.
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Engineering Drawing or Plating and Structural Steel Drawing (PSSD)
- Fitting or Platers’ Theory
How long is the qualification?
The Nated National Certificate (Boiler-Making N1-3), the programme is a full or part-time three (03) month program at each of the Nated (N). A student is issued with a certificate on the successful completion of each Nated (N) of study, which is N1, 2, and 3. (N) of study, that is N1, 2, and 3.
